Community consultation

The Department of Water recognises that stakeholder input and support for the Pilbara Regional Plan is essential to its success. It aims to seek a range of views around various issues that is as comprehensive as possible with formal consultation taking place through:

• A Consultative Committee comprising stakeholders from the main water user and water supply sectors in the Pilbara;
• Stakeholder forums to identify issues and approaches the Department of Water should take with the Regional Water Plan; and
• A stakeholder feedback facility.
