Policy no 13:  Recreation within public drinking water source areas on Crown land:  Draft for public comment (2012)  Is open for public comment from 6 February to 19 March 2012.

This policy updates the current Statewide policy no 13:  Recreation within public drinking water source areas on Crown land (2003).

A Frequently asked questions document is also available to explain this updated policy.

Draft Policy 13, 2012 implements Government’s response to the Standing Committee on Public Administration’s Report 11 to Parliament dealing with recreation activities within public drinking water source areas.  The updated policy aims to maintain the types and level of recreation currently available in the outer catchments of public drinking water source areas.  New recreation is proposed to be located outside public drinking water source areas.
