You may be able to get help from the Hardship Utility Grant Scheme (HUGS).
What is HUGS?
It’s a State Government scheme that provides financial assistance to people experiencing financial hardship to avoid being disconnection or restricted.
How can I apply?
Contact the Water Corporation to explain your current situation. If you are eligible, you will be referred to a financial counselling service for an assessment.
You can only get help by going to a financial counselling service which is registered with HUGS.
